Week 6 Outdoor

This week’s focus is defending. This will be predominantly in a 1v1 setting in which we can focus on the correct body shape when defending a player running at you with the ball.

What is Jockeying?

Jockeying, in short, is forcing the ball carrier and the ball where you want them to go.

Coaches will be focusing on teaching players to close down the space, how to position their bodies, hold their ground and to have patience, force the attacker to make a mistake then win the ball!
