The Chinooks FC Board and staff are excited to announce the appointment of Rhys Evans as the Club’s Technical Director.
After a search that generated applications from across Canada and around the world, numerous board and staff interviews and a final presentation of his club vision for Chinooks FC, Rhys was selected as our new TD.
Rhys comes to us with extensive coaching experience in the USA, Australia, New Zealand, and the UK, including Cardiff City FC where he delivered analysis of coaching techniques and provided coaching to youth and academy players.
Rhys holds a Bachelor of Science in Football Coaching from the University of South Wales in the UK and is currently pursuing his Masters in the same field.
Rhys joins Chinooks with a UEFA B license and a Football Association of Wales (FAW) C Certificate.
As indoor evaluations begin and we head closer to the indoor season, you will have the opportunity to see Rhys out on the pitch and chat with him. Rhys is looking forward to engaging with parents and will provide opportunities to connect with parents as he gets settled into his role.
